The following instructions are very important to be followed each time you use your European Youth Card.

1. All discounts that are included in this guide are valid all year around EXCEPT:
   a)THE SALES PERIODS
   b) WHEN ENTERPRISES HAVE THEIR OWN SPECIAL OFFERS
   The Youth Board of Cyprus urges you not to claim ADDITIONAL DISCOUNTS at the above mentioned periods because it is impossible for an enterprise to provide both discounts at a time, sales periods, special offers as well as that of European Youth Card.

2. Show your Card and claim your discounts BEFORE the bill is issued, because it is difficult for enterprises to make adjustments afterwards, especially in the case of restaurants.

3. In some cases, newly recruited personnel of enterprises does not know that they are supposed to provide a discount to European Youth Card holders. Call us so that we can brief them about the contact they have with us.

4. Enterprises that are included in this catalogue agreed to provide discounts to European Youth Cardholders ONLY. Discounted purchases that are directed towards other persons (relatives, friends) are not accepted by the enterprises, especially when the recipient of the purchase is there, with you making the choice and tells the shopkeeper that you are paying by using your Card.

5. When this guide mentions that enterprises provide a discount between i.e 10 to 30% this DOES NOT MEAN that it always has to provide the highest percentage. The enterprise means that the lowest discount you can get is 10% and the highest is 30%. The discount provided will be determined by the company according to the items you purchase.

The above instructions are based on real experiences, those of the enterprises and those mentioned by all interested parties during the past years.
